Distill any song into the perfect Suno prompt.
Hey Suno
I built this in two nights for my application.
Music has always been a big part of my life. I play guitar, I’m always listening to and sharing whatever I come across, and I’ve built around music before. I ran a music blog called CollegeVolume.com in the early-to-mid 2010s, and later built YourVolume.com, a Spotify playlist tool similar to Discover Weekly that brought the focus back to albums instead of singles.
So when I started using Suno, I was hooked. Typing something like “Make me a song like Hey Girl by O.A.R.” and getting back something that actually felt right? That’s magic.
But I wanted more control. Getting the instrumentation, the vocal style, the production feel to land exactly how I heard it in my head took a ton of prompting and trial and error. The Style of Music field is powerful, but writing a great one from scratch is hard.
So I built . It pulls metadata from Last.fm, grabs lyrics, runs everything through AI analysis, and turns it into a Suno prompt and lyrics you can actually use. Edit, remix, keep tweaking from there.
I shipped this in two nights using Claude Code. Not because I cut corners, but because building fast with AI tools is how I work. I wanted to show how I think about a product, not how long I can spend on a take-home.
I use the product. I see the gaps. I build for them. That’s why I want to work at Suno.
